We at AAStudio have created this Privacy Policy to describe how information is collected, used, and disclosed when you visit or use an AAStudio Offering. By accessing and/or using this AAStudio website or any AAStudio Offering (such as Long Narde — Backgammon Online, Long Narde — Backgammon Pro, Backgammon One, Backgammon - Narde and Backgammon), you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
The term "AAStudio", "we" or "us" means the company that publishes the AAStudio Offering you use, as shown as the developer or seller on that game's page in the App Store, Google Play or other store, and/or its Affiliates. The term "Affiliate" means, with respect to any party, any person or entity which controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with, such party. The term "AAStudio Offering" means the websites of AAStudio, including https://aastudio.org, any other sites on which this Privacy Policy is posted, and any AAStudio game, application, service or product licensed, downloaded or otherwise accessed by you through the Apple App Store, Google Play or other stores.
Payments:
In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your credit card or billing details. We only receive a confirmation of the purchase so that we can unlock what you bought.
Sign-In with Apple or Google:
If you sign in with Google, we receive only a sign-in token that identifies your Google account. If you sign in with Apple, we receive an identifier of your Apple account and, in some cases, your email address; you can choose to hide your email address when you sign in. We use this information only to identify you as a player, restore your profile on a new device and answer your support requests.
Online Play Information:
Our games do not require you to give us your real name. When you play online, we store the information needed for online play to work: your nickname, the profile picture you choose to upload, an internal player identifier, your rating, match results and game statistics. Your nickname, profile picture and rating are visible to other players. Please do not use your real name or other information that identifies you in real life as your nickname or profile picture.
Chat and Private Messages:
Some of our games have a lobby chat and private messages between players. Messages you send are stored on our servers so they can be delivered and shown to other players. Lobby chat messages are visible to everyone in the lobby. Private messages are visible only to you and the player you write to. Both lobby chat and private messages are kept for 14 days and then deleted. We may review messages when a player reports abuse or a violation of our rules. Please do not share personal information in chat.
Technical Information:
When you use an AAStudio Offering, we may collect technical information about your device, such as the IP address, the operating system type and version, the device model, the version of the app, the language settings, and crash and error reports. Our servers keep this information in logs to operate online play, prevent cheating and abuse, and fix problems.
Advertising Information:
Some of our games show ads. Our advertising partners may collect device identifiers used for advertising, your approximate location based on your IP address, and information about the ads you see and interact with.
Information You Send Us:
If you contact our support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message, such as screenshots or a description of your device.
Offline Games:
When you play offline (for example, against the computer), your progress and settings are stored on your device and are not sent to us.
We use the information we collect to:
We process your information because it is necessary to provide the games you asked for (performance of a contract), because we have a legitimate interest in keeping our games secure, fair and working well, and, for personalized advertising where the law requires it, because you gave your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the app or in your device settings.
We at AAStudio take reasonable measures to help protect the information we collect from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share customer information with AAStudio Affiliates, and as described below.
Stores and Service Providers:
We share information with third parties who perform services for us, such as processing in-app purchases (Apple, Google), hosting our servers, and collecting crash reports. Those third parties have access to your information only as necessary to perform their functions, and for no other purposes.
Advertising Partners:
We work with third-party advertising partners to show ads in our games. They may collect the advertising information described above and use it to show you ads, including personalized ads where you have allowed this. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
Business Transfers:
As AAStudio continues to grow, we might sell or buy certain subsidiaries and/or business units. In such transactions, customer information is generally one of the transferred assets. Also, in the unlikely event that AAStudio or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information would in most cases be one of the transferred assets.
Protection of AAStudio and Others:
We may also disclose your information if there is a violation of the Terms of Use or other agreements; if we have a good faith belief that the law requires it; or if needed to protect the rights, property or safety of AAStudio, our players or others. This includes exchanging information with entities for fraud detection and protection.
International Transfers:
Our service providers and advertising partners may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Personalized Ads:
You can limit personalized advertising in your device's privacy settings. You will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.
Online Profile:
You can change your nickname and profile picture in the game at any time.
AAStudio Offerings may contain ads and links to third-party services or websites. The use of these features and links is subject to the privacy policies of those companies. AAStudio has no control over, and is not responsible for, the information submitted to or collected by other third parties. We encourage you to review those third-party privacy policies to understand the way your information may be collected and handled.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have certain data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR. AAStudio Offerings are not directed to children under 13 and are designed to avoid the collection and use of "personal information" as defined in the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") from children under 13 other than for support of internal operations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are under 13, you may not create an online profile or otherwise provide any personal information to us.
AAStudio respects the privacy of parents and children and is committed to complying with COPPA. If a parent believes that their child has submitted personal information to AAStudio, they can contact us via email at info@aastudio.org. We will take steps to promptly delete the information upon learning that it relates to a child under the age of 13.
By accessing and/or using any of the AAStudio Offerings, you signify your understanding of and agreement with this Privacy Policy, and to our Terms of Use. If you do not agree with our policies, please do not access or use any AAStudio Offerings.
